Frank and I met when I started working at Battle and Brew in Sandy Springs, Georgia in February of 2022. Frank was too scared to talk to me because of my notorious RBF, but I broke the ice by asking if he thought people named Frank were more honest because of the saying "let me be frank with you." Frank and I were just close friends and coworkers while we were in different relationships, though he occasionally reminded me that he was ready to get married when I was.
We began dating in earnest in January of 2024 when he presented me with a Lego orchid at work and asked me to be his girlfriend while I was in the middle of hosting a High Tea event for the restaurant. He knew how important it was for me that he ask my parents for permission and that ideally my whole family would be there when he did. So, Frank proposed while my family was all together in Laguna Beach, Florida on October 31, 2024. I didn't even let him ask before saying yes, I was too giddy and excited. We are so excited to celebrate with all our friends and family, and to begin our lives together and hopefully grow a little family of our own.
The first day I met Taylor was after coming home from my first trip to New Orleans. Possibly still drunk and extremely hung over, I came to work at Battle and Brew and saw a fresh beautiful face behind the bar. As I had so many times before, I walked right up to our new hire peppy and happy to introduce ME, King Frank, The most popular guy at Battle and Brew, the Italian Stallion, ready for the warm welcome to the team. "HI!" I said, "My Name is Frank! SOOO happy to meet you!" and she said "sup" From then on, I was terrified of Taylor. My patented Frankie charm was completely ineffective...or so I thought.
Taylor talked to me first and said, "hey do you think your more honest because your name is frank, and people say, 'let me be Frank with you'?"
Thus started an amazing friendship with Taylor that often saw me asking, "hey when we get married..." then some stupid question.
Decades passed and finally I was given the shot I waited for and since then I have not let go. I'll be holding on tight until well after my death. I still haven't even proposed to her yet! I mean I did a whole thing, bought a ring, and got down on one knee, but I never even got the chance to ask her if she would marry me before she leaped into my arms and said YES! I am beyond excited to begin my life with Taylor and so happy to have all of you witness our Love!
